Mary Jane McCULLAUGH passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Julia C. MEGENITY, 1116 N. 9th St., Kansas City, Kansas, July 2, 1936. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Julia Megenity, Mrs. Mary BROWN of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Mrs. Clark Falk. Ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was born in Burlington, Vermont where she grew to young womanhood and married Mr. Michael R. McCullaugh. Together they pioneered in the far west, eventually coming to Osawatomie where he was employed as a machinist by the Missouri Pacific Railroad. Mr. McCullaugh died in 1916 and from that time she made her home with her daughter in Kansas City. Mrs. McCullaugh was brought to Osawatomie Saturday morning, July 4th and after a Requiem High Mass at St. Phillip's Church chanted by the Rev. Fr. John O'Connor, she was laid to rest beside her late husband in Elmdale cemetery.
