SMITH. He was born in Elmira, New York. The funeral services were held at the home of Mr. Smith Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. La Theo. Iobe of the Presbyterian church. He was a Christian and died in full faith. He said that he was ready if it was the Master's wish. His confession of faith, about two weeks ago, is said to have been very beautiful and showed that it came from a heart that was pure and resigned. After the funeral services Saturday his remains were shipped to New York for burial.
