The Osawatomie Graphic, Miami County, Thursday, November 1, 1923

Joshua D. STEVENS passed away at his home in Fontana, October 22nd, at the age
of 74 years, 7 months and 13 days. He is survived by his wife, and four
children: Mrs. Ehta DODD, of Parker, Darius STEVENS, of Osawatomie, Mrs. Hazel
DENISE and Mrs. Fern ADDY of Fontana. He served two years in the Civil War.
Funeral was held from the Fontana M.E. church Wednesay afternoon. Burial in
Fontana cemetery.
