Young Dies. Oldest Resident of Osage City, Kansas, Was 93 Years Old. Osage City, Kan., Jan 22.--Albert G. YOUNG, 93 years old, the oldest inhabitant of Osage City, died today at the home of his son, Ted YOUNG. Albert G. Young was a veteran of the Civil War and fought as a member of Company A, 140th Indiana Infantry. He was born in Bedford, Indiana and was acquainted with Abraham Lincoln when Lincoln was practicing law at Bedford. Mr. Young came to Osage City, March 4, 1870, whe three or four house comprised the town. In his capacity of excavation contractor, he helped to build much of the town, and had dug the basements for most of the older house here. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Christian Church, Osage City. Burial at Osage City. Mr. Young was a great-uncle of W.D. McCLINTOCK of Osawatomie.
