MILLER to Miss Anna AVERY, by Rev. A. M. Mann. The groom has been a resident of this place for ten years and is universally respected for his sterling qualities. He is chief dispatcher for the Missouri Pacific at this place and as an official of the road, enjoys the confidence of his superiors and the esteem of his subordinates. The bride is a daughter of M.H. Avery, of Sedalia, one of the best known railroad engineeers in the west. For some time she has been visiting her sister, Mrs. C.A. HUMPHRYES, wife of General Foreman Humphryes, of the shops, and during her stay here has made a host of friends by her pleasant lady-like ways and genial disposition. She is highly educated and refined and both she and her popular husband are being congratulated on every side by the numerous friends of both. We are informed that the young people wil go to housekeeping as soon as the necessary arrangements can be made. The Journal wishes to join the friends in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Miller a long, happy and useful life.
