Mr. Iven LEWIS and Miss Pearl DAWSON, both of this city, were married at the Presbyterian parsonage Sunday at 12:30 by Rev. Leonard. Mr. Lewis is a machinist by trade and has been in the employ of the company at this place for a little over a year. He is a sober, industrious young man of 22 and of the kind who make friends wherever they go. Miss Pearl is a charming young lady of 21, is of kind and cheerful disposition, and is possessed of the true qualities of woman. She has been employed in the Wilds Mercantile Co. store for several months, but resigns that position to assume her home duties. The happy couple left for Toronta, Kansas, where they will visit a few days before settling down in their home in this city. The Progress and their many friends wish them all that is essential for long happiness.
