Mr. Charles W. WOODRUFF and Miss Alice POLLARD were united in marriage Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the residence of Rev. Shears, who officiated. Mr. Woodruff is a well known farmer residing on his farm west of this city, and is highly respected by all who know him. The bride comes from Richland, the former home of Mr. Woodruff's, and comes highly recomended to the neighborhood in which she is to reside in the future. She is a lady of unusual talen and of an aminable disposition, and Mr. Woodruff can well be proud of his choice.
