          MARRIED.

CARROLL--WRIGHT--On the 12th inst,
  at the residence of the bride's
  parents, by  Esquire Wilson, Mr.
  CHAS. M. CARROLL, of Kansas City,
  and Miss ELLA NEVADA WRIGHT, of 
  the vicinity of Paola.
  The cake accompanying the above
has  the praises and thanks of the
REPUBLICAN  office. With  a smooth
track, an  easy grade, a clear way
and  plenty  of  steam,  may  your 
engine  never  jump the track, but
bring up at the end of your run, as
safe and trusty as at the outset of
your journey.

Additional Comments:
Ella Wright was the daughter of James L. Wright and Nancy Jane Bigley.
She was born 18 Apr. 1852 in Wayne Co., IN, and died 2 Mar. 1881 in 
Paola, Kansas, buried Paola Cemetery.
