Internment Jan. 20th, at 2 p.m. Hiram Buchner was born to Mr. and Mrs. Allen Buchner, in Jackson County, Iowa, Nov. 21st, 1872, and was 16 years, 2 months and 25 days old at the time of his death. He came to Kansas with his parents when only four years old and was the youngest of seven children. Hiram was afflicted with kidney trouble and the immediate cause of death was blood poisoning. Over two hundred people attended the funeral and followed the remains to Pleasant Hill cemetery, where they were laid to rest. Prayer was offered by Elder Wm. Landsend.
