The Independence Daily Reporter, Montgomery County, Friday, August 20, 1943 August 20, 1943
Mr. and Mrs. Lyle BRUCE, of Elk City, are the parents of a son born at 4:11 this
morning at Mercy hospital. The child weighed eight pound, fourteen and
three-quarters ounces.
