The Evening Reporter, Montgomery County, Monday, January 23, 1888 January 23, 1888
The probate judge is beginning to complain of the girls. He says that the
matrimonial market has been awful dull since leap year set in. Don't be in too
big a hurry, judge. Give the girls a little time and a fair show. Thses tough
bachelors are not to be caught in a day, but the girls are baiting their hooks
and setting their snares with care, and their plans are sure to pan out in time.
