Death of Former Resident

John C. Adolph, 69, passed away Thursday, March 17, at Mercy hospital in 
Independence. Mr. Adolph had farmed west of Elk City until 1944 when the family 
moved to Independence. He is survived by four sons, two daughters and two 
sisters. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Rodrick Memorial 
Chapel in Independence and interment was in Oak Hill cemetery at Elk City.
