George BAEHR, 72, died at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at 417 South Fifteenth following an illness which had lasted several years. The deceased was born on Feb. 3, 1871 in Alleghany, Penn. In August, 1918, he came to Independence and he has lived here since then. He was married to Hattie HOOVER on Nov. 15, 1899. She died in 1911, at DuBoys, Penn. One sister is believed to survive but her whereabouts are unknown. Graveside services were held this morning at 10 o'clock with the Rev. L.A. Bolerjack of the Nazarene church officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope. The Rodrick Funeral home had charge.
