The Independence Daily Reporter, Montgomery County, Frida, October 15, 1943
John W. BROWNING, long-time resident of the Neodesha vicinity died Wednesday
morning at the state hospital at Osawatomie after a six months' illness. Funeral
services were held this afternoon at the Methodist church in Neodesha and burial
was in the Altoona cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. L.R. WATSON,
Altoona; two sisters, Mrs. L.N. DEWEESE, Roy, N.M., and Mrs. E.D. MIKESELL,
Fredonia, and two brothers, Eugene BROWNING of Gildford, Mont., and I.P.
BROWNING, of Parsons.
