Funeral Services Sunday at Elk City Church. Mathew David BRYANT, 65, a native of Montgomery county and a well known resident of the Elk City community, died this morning aroud 4 o'clock at the home of his sister, Lizzie Bryant, four miles west of Elk City. Mrs. Bryant had been in ill health for some time and two weeks ago suffered a stroke of paralysis. Mathew David Bryant was born on a farm two miles west of Elk City and since that time has made his home in that vicinity continually. In 1926 he retired form active life, after having been engaged in the ranching business for many years. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the First Christian church of Elk City with Rev. Carl Packard in charge. Burial will be in Oakhill cemetery. Surviving are: the wife of the home; two sons, Era of Elk City and David of Grand Rapids, Neb.; and a daughter, Mrs. Goldie BLOUIT of Spokane, Wash. One brother W.C. Bryant and the sister, Lizze Bryant, both of Elk City also survive.
