   FUNERAL FOR FLORA IS DELAYED FOR SON 



Head of Shirt Concern Dies Suddenly in Home.

      Funeral arrangements for C. M. Flora, president of the Flora Shirt company,
will not be completed until Sunday when son Carl, who is attending a Washington, D.
C. law school arrives in the City, it was announced Friday by members of the family.




      Flora died suddenly early Friday morning at his home, 815 West Eleventh
street, from heart failure. He was 56 years old. 



      He had been a resident of Oklahoma City since 1911 when e moved his shirt
factory here from Independence, Kan. 



      Flora was born near Liberty, Kans., April 22, 1868. His education was received
in Kansas schools, and he became owner of his own factory at 34 years of age. He had
been engaged in the shirt manufacturing business for the last twenty-two years. 



      Active in civic ad church affairs, Flora made scores of friends in the city,
and through business association was known throughout the state. He was deacon in
the First Presbyterian church. 



      He is survived by his wife and two sons, Carl and Clarence. Clarence lives
with his parents.
