Delmar Wayne FOLEY, 85, of Good Samaritan Village, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 1999. Mr. Foley was born June 4, 1914, at Lewiston, Mo., to Joseph E. and Bertha (Cheatum) Foley. He married Wilma HAYES on June 12, 1947, at St. Louis. Mrs. Foley preceded her husband in death on Feb. 25, 1989. Mr. Foley was a veteran of World War II, and was also active in American Legion and VFW. He had lived in Salina, Coffeyville, and Hays. Mr. Foley worked as a driver for Continental Trailways Bus Line. Later he drove trucks cross-country. In 1996, Mr. Foley moved to Winfield from Salina to be near his family. Survivors include his son, Mike Foley of Winfield; and his dauther, Patty HAYES, of Richland, Wash. Graveside services are 1:30 p.m. Monday, at Roselawn Cemetery, Salina. Swisher-Taylor, and Morris Funeral Home is in charge of services. Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
