RICHARDSON, Sarah Ann
Published in the South East Kansas Tribune on 22 June 1910. Submitted by Wilbur 
Howard.
"Sarah Ann Richardson was born in Johnson County, Ind., Jan. 4, 1846, and 
entered into rest June 17, 1910, aged 64 years, four months and thirteen days. 
On March 21, 1868 she was united in marriage with R. A. Howard, to which union 
four sons and seven daughters were born--a son and a daughter preceding her to 
the grave. Early in life she united with the Baptist church and later in 1891 
joined the Seventh Day Adventist church at Elk City. On Oct. 20, 1878 with her 
husband and family she located in Montgomery county, where she has lived until 
death. She is survived by a bereaved husband, nine children and sixteen 
grandchildren, who mourn the loss of "grandma" Howard. She was loved and 
respected by all who knew her, as was shown by the large number of people who 
followed her to the last resting place, where she awaits the coming of Him who 
has the keys to death and the grave."
