LeMoine, 86, of Dearing died Saturday evening at Jane Phillips Hospital, Bartlesville. She was born Oct. 12, 1893, on a farm southeast of Jefferson to William Lafayette and Anna (Payne) Gordon. She attended Independence High School and Pittsburg State Teachers College. She taught for 10 years. She moved to California and married Clarence LeMoine in 1922. They lived in the Los Angeles area until his death in 1962. Mrs. LeMoine had lived in Dearing since 1963. She was a member of Banks Everready, Sunshine Circle, Dearing Christian Church and AARP. Survivors include one sister, Bess Callahan of Minneapolis, Kan. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Ford Funeral Service Edgewood Chapel with burial in Robbins Cemetery. A memorial has been established at the Dearing Christian Church Building Fund. Memorials may be left at the church or the funeral home.
