Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Lorena MILLER, wife of Joyce Miller, of Sycamore, who died yesterday afternoon in Mercy hospital, will be held at 3:30 Friday afternoon at the Webb Funeral home with Dr. David McCleave of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery. Mrs. Miller, who was formerly Miss Juanita SHIELDS of Lost Springs, Ias., attended Kansas State college at Manhattan and had a teachers certificate. She taught two years at Hymer, Kansas. On July 21, 1935, she was united in marriage to Joyce Miller, at the home of her father, J.B. Shields, in Lost Springs. Her mother was not living at the time. Mr. and Mrs. Miller then made their home in Manhattan for about two and a half years, lived in Council Grove for three years, in Neodesha for two years, and were living on a farm near Sycamore at the time of her death. Mr. Miller and two children, Lois Marie, four years old and Joseph Shields Miller, two days old, survive.
