Death Follows Operation On Fractured Jaw. Perry Lee MORGAN, age 30, passed away at a Wichita hospital where he was taken yesterday morning for an operation on a fractured jaw sustained in an automobile mishap a week ago. death was attributed to shock from the operation. Mr. Morgan was employed at the local air field for the Jones Construction Co., until July 7. He was born in Carterville, Mo., Jasper county, on April 19, 1913. With his family he came to Eureka, Kas., in 1926. He graduated from the high school at Howard and from the junior college in Independence. Having spent one year in the army during the present war, he was dismissed with an honorable medical discharge after an operation in September, 1941. He was united in marriage on August 29, 1942, in Independence to Mary Ola HENDERSON of this city. Survivors are as follows: his wife of the home; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. O.C. PURVIS of Neodesha; two sisters, Truley SAYLOR of Liberty and Lutie JAY of Eureka; one brother, Carol Morgan of Foley, Ala. His father, John Morgan and one brother, Richard Morgan preceded him in death. Funeral rites will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Webb Funeral chapel with the Rev. Leonard Birkin, pastor of the Church of the Brethren, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery.
