Rites for J.A. Schulte.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Potts chapel for Joseph A.

"Jack" SCHULTE, well known farmer, living west of Independence, who was found

dead Saturday morning near his home, with a gunshot wound to his head. Rev. R.O.

Penick of the First Methodist churhc was in charge. Burial was in Mount Hope

cemetery.
