The Morning Reporter, Montgomery County, Wednesday, January 23, 1895
"Grandma" STRAIN, an old lady who lived between this city and Coffeyville, died
last Friday of old age, and the remains were taken back to Indiana for burial.
She was 92 years of age and was a pensioner at the widow of a soldier of the war
of 1812.
