Eliza Jane Tharp
Died---Mrs. Tharp, wife of Doctor F. M. Tharp, died on Monday evening at their
home in the north west part of the city. Mrs. Tharp, was in her 61st year and
for a long time had suffered from a cancer in the breast. But the end of her
life came calm and peaceful and with perfect resignation, surrounded by family
and friends she passed peacefully away. Yesterday afternoon short funeral
services were held at her late home, Rev. W. F. Powell of the Baptist church
officiating and the remains were buried in the city cemetery.
