It is expected that the burial will take place here, but the time of the funeral cannot be determined until distant relatives have been heard from. ============ Same newspaper: Tuesday, January 29, 1895: The funeral of Mrs. Ada T. WHEELER, wife of Mr. Len Wheeler, will take place from the family residence in the First ward at 10 a.m. tomorrow the services being conducted by Rev. Dr. Wright and Rev. G.W. Bean. Mrs. Wheeler was born at Jackson, Ohio, Jan. 12, 1871, and was married to Mr. Wheeler at that place Dec. 23, 1891, since which time she has resided in this city with her husband. It has been eveident for many months past that consumption was preying upon her system and it was the hope of her husband and friends that removal to a more genial climate would prove beneficial and arrangements were being made by Mr. Wheeler to find a home in New Mexico but death came before these plans could be carried out. Her parents at Jackson were notified and it was hoped might be able to attend the funeral of this their only daughter but word was received yesterday that the mother, who is troubled with heart disease, is completly prostrated by her bereavement and unable to make the jour! ney and it was useless to longer delay the interment which will be at Mt. Hope cemetery. ========== Same newspaper: Thursday, January 31, 1895: The funeral services of Mrs. Ada Mitchell WHELER took place yesterday at 10 o'clock. Rev. Dr. Wright of the Methodist Episcopal church officiated, being assisted by Rev. G. W. Bean of the Presbyterian church. Mrs. Wheeler was greatly loved here by a large circle of friends who truly mourn her departure. ========= Same newspaper; Wednesday, January 30,1895: Mr. J.M. FRENCH and wife of Topeka, arrived last evening to attend the funeral of their niece, Mrs. Len WHEELER, which will take place at 10 a.m. today from Mr. Wheeler's residence. ============= Same newspaper; Friday, February 1, 1895: Mr. J.M. FRENCH, who, with his wife, came down from Topeka to attend the funeral of his niece, Mrs. Len Wheeler, left for Erie yesterday morning. Mrs. French will join him today at Chanute and they will reach their home this evening.
