The Evening Reporter, Montgomery County, Tuesday, November 22, 1887
Last nights east bound train conveyed Ed RIZER, from this city to Kansas City,
where tomorrow morning he will meet Miss Zelma EALS, formerly of this city but
now of Rushville, Ill., and at 8:30 they will be united in marriage at a hotel.
They will arrive at home tomorrow night, and  at eight o'clock a reception will
be held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Rizer on West Main street. Mr.
Rizer and his bride will be welcomed home by all our citizens with hearty
congratulations, as they are known in the society circles of Independence. Ed
has his ome, corner of Maple and Fourth streets, already furnished and the new
couple will go to house keeping on Thursday morning.
