The Evening Reporter, Montgomery County, Thursday, August 20, 1888
Dame Rumor was entirely correct in her report of the marriage of D.S. LOCKWOOD
as mentioned by us the other day. Mr.Lockwood and Miss Emma METZGER were married
by the probate judge at Sedan on Wednesday, July 25.
Mrs. Lockwood left here last Monday to visit friends at Rich Hill, Mo., and Mr.
Lockwood started this morning for Rich Hill via Kansas City. On next Monday the
newly married couple will leave Kansas City for Colorado Springs and from there
will go to Los Angeles, Cal. The time for their return is very uncertain as
theymany conclude to take up their residence in California.
