The Moring Reporter,Montgomery County, TuesdayJanuary 8, 1895,
We learn from papers received by Mrs. A.B. Clark, that Mrs. Isaella PAYNE, of
Vashon, Wash., (but formerly of our city) was married last month to Oscar E.
REA, of Everett, Wash. We are assured that Mr. Rea is a very excellent
gentleman, is postmaster of the city, an enthusiatic Mason, and a broad-gauaged
democrat, and under the circumstances we congratulate them both. The papers also
contained an account of a very exciting county seat war that has been raging
between Everett and the present county seat of Snohomish, in which Everett was
reported victor.
