B. Barber Is Dead. News was received of the death of T. B. Barber, of Council Grove, a veteran of the Civil War and a close friend of the late Senator Preston B. Plumb. Mr. Barber died at 11:30 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F. W. Thomas, in Dunlap, after nearly a year's illness. Funeral arrangements have not been made. T. B. Barber was an uncle of George L. Barber, of Emporia.
