He was placed on a special train and started for the hospital at Topeka, but he died just as the train pulled into Lawrence. The remains were taken to Parsons on Saturday afternoon and interred in the cemetery there at 10 o'clock Monday. He leaves a wife and one child, father and mother, three brothers and two sisters to mourn his untimely death.
