Galesburg Enterprise, Friday, April 14, 1899
Died - Miss Nellie Double, at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at her home 
southeast of town, of consumption, aged 34 years. She had been a sufferer of 
this dreadful disease for many months past and her death was not unexpected to 
relatives and friends. Besides near relatives she leaves a host of warm 
friends to mourn her departure. The remains were interred in Mt. Hope cemetery 
at 8 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
