The Osage County Chronicle Sat Sep 29, 1866 pg 2
   The Cupola of the Congregational church
edifice is being finished off preparatory to
the reception of a bell. The subscription for
a bell is in circulation. About one hundred 
and sixty dollars has been subscribed and paid
over. A bell that will cost about three hundred
dollars is desired. Let all those who feel able
contribute something.
