Honor Newlyweds.
Mr. and Mrs. Elton STRANGE of Burlingame were honor guests of a shower and
picnic held Sunday, July 2nd, at Gage Park in Topeka. Mrs. Strange was before
her recent marriage, Miss Marguerite MOORE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Moore
of Burlingame. Mr. Strange is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Strange of Burlingame.
Those attending were: Mr. and Mrs. John Strange, Mr. and Mrs. Will Moore and
family, Mrs. Sadie Moore, Mrs. Rose Seaman, Mrs. Leonard Seaman, Miss Anna
Vandivord, Miss Nadine Foster, Miss Nellie Mae Foster, and Howell Foster, all of
Burlingame; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Strange, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Renyer, Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Moore, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Moore, Marion Cowell, and family, Mrs. Lula Reese,
Mrs. Rose Shipley, Miss Betty Lou Bills, Miss Marjorie Wickers, and Tommy Moore,
all of Topeak; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Moore, Taos, N.Mex.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moore
and son, and Miss Ruby Moore, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bradley
and daughter, St. Joseph, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Young, Pecos, Texas; Mr. and
Mrs. Alfred Moore and family, and Sam Moore, Atchison; Mr. and Mrs. Purl Young
