In a formal announcement this week, O.H. THOMAS, popular and capable superintendent of public instruction advises that he is a candidate for reelection of that office. Long service as head of the school department of county government attests the faith and confidence in which he is held by the people of the county who have repeatedly returned him to the position with large majorities or without opposition. Outside of his official duties, Superintendent Thomas takes an active part in the Boy Scout organization of the county and for serveral years has been chairman of the court of honor committee.
