Old Resident Of Carbondale Dies. Angess BRACKMAN, the second daughter of John and Agness LITTLE, was born April 22nd, 1851,a nd died May 2nd, 1933, being 82 years of age at the time of her death. Mrs. Brackman, when a small child came with her parents form Liverpool, England. They first came to Quebec, Canada, later moving to the United States. Living at Walnut, Kan., for a time, the moved to Lawrence, Kansas. Again moving to near Ridgeway, Kansas, where she grew to womanhood. On March 16th, 1873, she was united in marriage to Samuel C. BRACKMAN, and together they lived the life of early settlers. For over 60 years they lived in the Northern part of Osage county. To them five children were born, Mrs. Mary MOORE, Overbrook, Mrs. Etta BANES, Leavenworth, Mrs. Emma RUSSEL, Wichita, adn Wm. BRACKMAN, Wichita, and a babe who died in infancy. At the age of 16 years she became a christian, united with the United Brethren church, and after her marriage she joined the church of her husband, the Methodist. She was a consistent Christian, during her younger years, took an active part in serving her master, as well as doing many a christian service among her neighbors and friends. She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, Samuel C. Brackman, her four living children, eleven grandchildren and great grandchildren besides a host of relatives and friends. Card of Thanks.
