The deceased was born August 13, 1850 near South Canaar. He is survived by his wife, who before marriage was Mary McConnell ROGERS; also the following children, all married: Simon of Childs, William BLOOMSFIELD, New Jersey; Mrs. Frances MOSER, Fresno, California, Mrs. Bert WHITMAN, of Johnson City, New York; and one brother, Joseph of South Cannaan; fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home of Mrs. Bert WHITMAN, at Johnson City, Friday at one o'clock. Mr. Bronson spent his early life in the far west farming, and he also followed the carpenter trade for some time. For many years he had lived at South Canaar where he owned a large farm. He was a highly respected citizen and lived a Christian life.
