Mrs. Georgetta CAMPBELL, aged 26 years, 11 months and two days, wife of Joseph L. Campbell, died shortly after 2 o'clock February 25 at the Wilson county hospital of complications following an attack of the flu. The sudden death of Mrs. Campbell leaves two children, Joseph Jr. and Bettie motherless, and casts a spell of gloom over the entire community for Mrs. Campbell has lived most of her life in this community and was known as a fine specimen of intelligent and talented womanhood. She was the daughter of J.E. McINTOSH of this city. She also leaves to mourn her death, two sisters, Mrs. Joe DOOTY of Melvern and Mrs. Earl HOSS of Pittsburg, Kan. Her mother and two brothers are deceased. Funeral services were held the 26th from the Methodist church of which the deceased was an active member.Services were conducted by Rev. J.O. Borton, and burial made in the city cemetery. Georgetta McINTOSH was united in marriage to Joseph CAMPBELL July 18th, 1917, and has made her home in Neodesha ever since, rearing her family here and joining in the social activities of the city. Her loss will be keenly felt in this city.--Neodesha Daily Sun.
