He was the father of 12 children, 3 of whom are dead. The deceased was 64 years of age and is survived by a wife and ten children, five sons and five daughters, one brother and one sister. All the children and the brother were at Dewar for the burial. He died at Dewar, Okla., Saturday morning, Jan 31, 1914, and was buried at Henryetta Sunday morning by the Catholic Priest with a mast at West Lawn cemetery. His sons are Harry, Hugh, Patrick, James and Edward. Harry is married and lives in Dewar. The other sons are single and all live at home. His daughters are Mrs. John Gill, of Gillespie, Ill; Mrs. Omar Shaw, of Ft. Smith, Ark.; Mrs. John McCarthy, of Dewar; Miss Jane and Miss Elizabeth Connor, who are at home; his sister, Mrs. Wm. Lavey, of Kansas City, Kans; his brother, Mr. Pat Connor, Jennie Lind, Ark. Additional Comments: 1930 Ft. The Osage County Chronicle Thu Jan 2, 1890 pg 5 Death of Little Margaret Margaret Connor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Henry Connor, of this city died at 6 o'clock P.M on Sunday December 29th, 1889, aged nine years. The cause of her death was inflamatory rheumatism and she had been ill only about three weeks. The funeral took place Tuesday, the 31st, the burial being in the Catholic cemetery at Scranton. Rev. Father Cavanaugh conducted the funeral services and a large number of friends followed the remains of the loved one to the grave.
