She was united in marriage to Jasper ENGLAND about 1866. She came to Kansas with her husband in 1873, and moved to a farm near Burlingame. Her husband died about twelve years ago, and since that time she has made her home in Scranton, Kansas. She leaves to mourn her loss two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Miller living near Osage City, Mrs. Barbara SMITH, of Santiago, California. One son William, who died in infancy. She affilated with the Methodist Episcopal Church here, and was a member of the Home Department of the M.E. Sunday School and lived a consistent Christian life. She will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church, Monday, October 22, at 2 p.m., conducted by the pastor, Rev. Basquin.
