Miss Elizabeth GRIFFITH died at the home of her mother in Topeka Monday
afternoon after a long and severe illness.
Funeral services are being held here this afternoon at the Methodist church. Her
many friends are saddened by her untimely death. Elizabeth worked in the Gazette
office two or three years, and we never had a more sincere, loyal, and lovable
helper. One had to know her well to fully appreciate and fine out her best
qualities. 
Sympathy is extended to the breaved family.
