   Thomas E. Griffith of this city fell a
victim to heart disease last Friday morning.
He was found dead in a corn field near No.7
shaft south of Mulberry, and it is supposed
the cause of his death was heart trouble. He
was a miner in the employ of the Spencer-
Newlands Company and been a resident of Arma,
for several years. He leaves a widow, a son,
and a daughter.
