William Hotchkiss, known to many as "Bill" lived at Burlingame all his life until two years ago, when he married and moved to Williamsburg. He worked at the coal mining business while in Osage County, and has continued in it while at Williamsburg. Very little is known of the disagreement or quarrel which preceeded the shooting. None of his friends and relatives know of any former misunderstanding and are at a loss to explain the motive. The cafe proprietor who was the only person who gave an account said that before Griffin went home for his gun, there had been some talk of the price of coal. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/osage/obits/h/hotchkis1048gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
