Age 55 years and 21 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Charlotte Jane ALLISON, July 4, 1894, at Melvern, Kansas. To this union were born two daughters, Nettie Cecil and Minnie Roene. He was a graduate of Baker University at Baldwin. He has been engaged in the mercantile business all his life, having been located at Quenemo, Eskridge, Lebo and Garden City. Mr. Jones was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Eskridge and the Elks at Garden City. The Masonic Lodge of Melvern had charge of the funeral and burial. The work of the Masonic Lodge, both at the church and cemetery was carried out very nicely and was so impressive. Mr. Jones was well known and had a large circle of friends who will greatly miss him. He leaves to mourn his loss an aged mother, wife and two daughters, besides other relatives and a host of friends. Card of Thanks.
