The community was sadly shocked Friday morning when the news came that Ted Latter had passed away. Mr. Latter had been in poor health for some time due to a fall he received while painting the hardware store a year or so ago, in which he broke his arm. He was in Christ's Hospital several months after the accident, and his arm was left in a paralyzed condition. Thursday afternoon he was able to be out in the yard, but Friday morning the change came suddenly. Ted will be missed by his many Carbondale freinds as he was a men who was always ready to help any in need. The many kind deeds he has done will long be remembered. Card of Thanks. We wish to thank our neighbors and friends for their kind deeds during the illness and death of our brother. Fred.
