E. Huffman, 407 North Seventh street. He was born in County Longford, Ireland, 73 years ago. Besides his widow, eight children survive: Matthew of Alton, I.; Harry, La Grand, Ore.; Patric, Cleveland; Alex, Topeka; William Jr., of Leavenworth; Mrs. H. L. Skinner of Emporia; Mrs. Joseph Donegan of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Huffman. No funeral arrangements were announced today. LAVEY Service at St. Mary's Catholic Church Friday Morning Funeral service for Wm. Lavey, 73 years old, who died yesterday morning at the home of his daughter. Mrs. C. E. Huffman, 407 North Seventh street, will be held at nine o'clock Friday morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fifth and Ann avenue. Death was caused by pneumonia. Mr. Lavey had been a resident of the city for more than five years and formerly resided at Leaven- worth, Kansas. Aside from Mrs. Huffman seven other children also survive. They are Matthew Lavey, Alton, Ill.; Harvey Lavey, LeGrande, Ore.; Patrick Lavey, Cleveland, O.; William Lavey, Jr., Leavenworth; Alex Lavey, Topeka, Kas.; Mrs. Joseph Donegan, Kansas City, and Mrs. H. He says that his son Pat insisted in his remaining there, but that he feels able to do some work at coal digging and preferred coming here and get a dip into some of the prosperity, to remaining there living off the earnings of his son.
