The Melvern Review,Osage County,ThursdayJuly 9, 1924,
Arle Wesley LEWIS, son of Roy and Myra Lewis came to their home like a bright
sunbeam on the morning of June 8th and entered the land of rest June 27th after
an illness of a few hours. All that loving hands could do was but to fail, the
tiny soul returned to the God who gave it. A little rosebud on earth to bloom in
heaven.
Little Arle was with us only twenty short days. He leaves to mourn his loss a
heartbroken father and mother, two little brothers, Omer and Vanee, grandparents
and other relatives.
The funeral services were held at the family home Saturday afternoon, June 28th,
after which the little body was gently laid to rest in Pleasant View Cemetery.

We wish to thank our kind neighbors and friends who were so helpful and
thoughtful during the illness and death of our darling baby.
