The burial of Mrs. Sara LINN, a former resident of Burlingame, took place in the Burlingame cemetery Wednesday afternoon of last week. Mrs. Linn had made her home for several years with her son, Frank, southwest of Harveyville and died there early Tuesday morning, March 29, 1932. She had been an invalid for the past twenty-five years and two weeks before her death suffered a slight stroke. Mrs. Linn was born January 4, 1854, in Loran county, Ohio. She was married to Joseph Linn at Berwick, Illinois, in 1874 and after a few years of residence there and in Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Linn moved to Burlingame, Kansas, in which community they had made their home for thirty-six years. Grandma Linn was a friend to every one and is kindly remembered by those who knew her, especially her neighbors on the hill on West Dayton, where the Linns lived. Funeral services wer held in the Methodist church in Harveyville conducted by the pastor of the church. She is survived by one son, Frank Linn and his wife of Harveyville; a granddaughter, Mrs. Ruby HOWEY, and a great-granddaughter, Helen Howey of Larkspur, Colorado.
