Miss Janet LOWES was born in Scranton, Kansas, August 26, 1889 and departed this life June 23, 1933, at the age of 43 years, 10 months and 27 days. Miss Lowes had been an invalid of a number of years, but had been seriously ill the past week. During all her suffering of the past few years she has been very patient and borne her trials with the true traits of womanhood. She became a member of the Methodist Church when a young girl and kept her faith until the end. She leaves three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. James F. DUNN, Scammon(?), Kansas; Miss Katheryn Lowes of Fort Sill, Oklahoma and Mrs. Hannah DROHN of Scanton; Ben Lowes of Newton and George Lowes of the home address and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Church, in charge of the pastor, Rev. J.R. Williams. Interment in Scranton cemetery. Music was furnished by a trio composed of H.H. COWEN, A.B. BUNTEN, and Will CARNEY. Accompanist, Mrs. A.E. WEESE. The pallbearers were Wm.BURNETT, Robert McINTOSH, Alex McINTOSH, Wm.
