Another Old Resident Gone.
James McKinley Died Saturday, June 9.

Mr. James McKINLEY died at his home here Saturday morning, June 9th. He had been
in poor health for a long time, but was taken worse only a few days before his
death. Mr. McKinley had lived in Scranton almost half a century and had a host
of friends here who were grieved by his death.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Episcopal Church Monday afternoon,
conducted by Rev. Brogren. The immense crowd which gathered to pay last
respects, bore evidence of the high esteem in which he and his family are held.
Many out-of-town friends were in attendance. Interment was made in Scranton
cemetery.
