            Mrs. J. W. Menzie
   Mrs. J. W. (Kathleen) Menzie, Sr., 83, 
1523 Poyntz, died suddenly this morning at
Mount St. Joseph's Home in Kansas City, wher
she had been residing for the past three
years.
   She was born September 1, 1878, in Scranton,
and was a resident of Manhattan for 40 years.
   Mrs. Menzie was a member of Seven Dolors
Catholic Church, was a former president of the
Altar Society and a member of the Woman's Club.
   She was preceded in death by her husband
in 1942.
   Mrs. Menzie is survived by one son, Joseph
W. Menzie, Jr., 2391 Grandview Terrace; and
three grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited Thursday at 7:30
p.m. in the Conroy All Faith Chapel.
   Requiem High Mass will be offered at 9 a.m.
Friday in Seven Dolors Catholic Church with
The Very Rev. Msgr. William H. Merchant as
celebrant.
   Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery.
